Ubuntu Gutsy Cannot connect to ICQ ("The client version you are using is too old.")

Da diversi giorni succede(va) una cosa strana… Su Ubuntu Gutsy, Pidgin, il software per la chat ha smesso di collegarsi ad ICQ.

Molto probabilmente è stato aggiornato il protocollo… Comunque sia la connessione non avviene mostrando il seguente errore:

Cannot connect to ICQ (“The client version you are using is too old.”)

wp-icq-status

This plugin lets you show the ICQ status for one UIN of your choice or for each author registered into your blog.

It’s driven by the admin interface, it use original graphics provided by icq.com website.

Installation

  1. Download lastest zip file and extract into your /wp-content/plugins directory
  2. Activate it into Plugin page in administration area
  3. Manage option by the menu Manage -> ICQ status
  4. Add the code where you want, into your (sidebar?) template icq_status();
