Today the Web Standards Project (WaSP) announced it has formed a task force with Microsoft Corp. to provide support as the company increases Web standards support in its products including Microsoft Visual Studio and ASP.NET.
The group will work together to better understand and execute on Web standards as defined by standards bodies such as the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Si direbbe una notizia sensazionale, dopo anni ed anni di inferno per i web designers costretti a trovare escamotages particolari per poter servire siti uguali per tutti. Probabilmente potremo dire basta agli hack per ingannare l'interpretazione dei CSS fatta da IE!
Speriamo che giungano presto a risultati concreti, anche se probabilmente si dovrà aspettare IE 7 con Longhorn ma in quel momento useremo già tutti Mac OS intel, oppure GNU/Linux ubuntu desktop!
